Set in the picturesque surroundings of Grainau, Gasthof Höhenrain is a welcoming place to stay for travelers looking to experience the beauty of the Bavarian Alps. First opened in 1922 and lovingly reopened in May 2017, our house combines historic character with modern comfort. Most rooms offer wonderful views of the Wetterstein mountain range and the Zugspitze peak, and the peaceful setting makes it an ideal base for hiking, skiing and everything the region has to offer.
